7/21/2023 0 Comments Fantasy general 2 invasion reviewIt feels like people are salty because they didn't get a seperate screen with a map and string of scenarios one after another. At first from the previews I thought the game really does not have such thing, but the Story Realms are actually solid as a narrative tool. I'm still pretty surprised people are so vocal about "lack of campaigns". Wish they were more asymmetrical(same can be said about certain transformation, like undead, like why they even still need food?). Cultures and traits system, and empire trees.Ĭultures would be better if they were more disctinct, provided more unique rosters of units, but when archer who is the only t2 cultural archer has only.slightly more damage and thats all, its just sad, why archer called "Fury" doesn't have i don't know, frenzy mechanics? Cultural units for the most parts are just boring to play with and culture "mechanics" are just bland, really. PF race+class combinations+unique custom heroes provided much more interesting experience than what we have here. I dunno, I wish heroes were more different depending on their original culture, so it would be more unique to get barbarian as your mystic etc, rn changes are like few not really impactful skills and thats all.signature skill system is really not fun, its random and skills just mostly don't make sense. And i never had defensive siege, even tried to force it but AI is lacking braincells and too scared, I dunno. There is a reason people hate long sieges in TW games cuz it turns it into skip turn simulator and same happened here, but also battles themselves are not that interesting. Its kinda ok on paper but in a long run i found it more annoying than interesting, it fixed one issue from previous(scouts capturing empty cities) but created other, like forcing you to wait from 2 to 6 or even more turns just.standing. Im conflicted with some of your "+" points(didnt watch vid cuz i dont speak french, sorry):
